Our most recent favourite picture book has been The Invisible. It helped us to think about the difference each individual person can make and how one small act can change the world.
My year 4 class loved The Story Of The Mole Who Knew It Was None Of His Business. Then we dissected horse poo and made poo in a pair of tights. We would be soooooo excited to meet the author of Poo! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
On world book day, our speech and language resource base really enjoyed the book ‘Catch Me If You Can! By David Styring and Jo Byatt. It really is a fin-tastic book!
During remote learning, my year 3 class really enjoyed The Magic Paintbrush by Julia Donaldson. It helped them to write some fantastic stories of their own such as ‘The Magic Mirror’, ‘The Magic Biscuits and ‘The Magic Eggs’.😊
Our kids loved The Diddle That Dummed, read to them virtually during lockdown 1. Who doesn’t love a bit of silliness?!!
