My class love The Dot! Really inspired them to look at their artwork differently
I’ve recently just bought The Suitcase
It’s a wonderful book that is suitable for different age groups.
For younger children it’s a lovely story about kindness, however with older children your can read into it deeper and analyse it further.
An excellent book for looking at moving to a new country, refugees and those seeking asylum.
Over lockdown I had the privilege of reading some stories online for schools. The smartest giant in town was a great one for thinking about kindness and community together. Also had some funny bits in too!
Clare visited the school where I teach and it was brilliant. Id love to win this for my daughter’s school who have been amazing throughout lockdown…and beyond. I know her whole school did projects around Oliver Jeffers ‘What We’ll Build’ and had a great time.
So many picture books that I could mention here! We love anything by Anthony Browne, Rachel Bright and Julia Donaldson. Some of our recent favourites have been Bloom by Anne Booth, Look up! by Nathan Bryon and The Littlest Yak (my favourite!) by Lu Fraser. 💗📚💗
