The Marvellous Doctors for Magical Creatures review

The Marvellous Doctors for Magical Creatures review

We are very excited to share a review for this wonderful book during Pride month. Thanks to Oxford University Press for our review copy.

A favourite Line in the book:

Everyone in town knew exactly who to see when they were feeling poorly - Ava and her Dads. I am an emotional reader at the best of times but to read the words Ava and her Dads is such an incredible joy.

This story mentions so many magical creatures from sneezy centaurs to unicorns with tummy aches.

Little Ava is the finest little trainee doctor, helping her doctor Daddies with their magical patients, but sadly a little unicorn called Glitterbug calls in with a tummy ache but there seems to be nothing wrong. What a mystery!

After lots of investigating, a big surprise happens when the rain and thunder comes, little Ava finds out what is wrong.

This is a lovely book with two Dads, a lovely message and wonderful illustrations, perfect for unicorn fans.

This book would be a great read for children at home and for little readers too.

We loved Pirate Mums also by Jodie Lancet-Grant and illustrated by Lydia Corry too.
