Jane Austen Investigates review

Jane Austen Investigates review

I was fortunite to receive a copy of this amazing book and was especially excited to open the package to find a gold envelope, some rose tea and a little chocolate with my advanced proof. Isn't book post the best thing ever?

On to the book, the write up mentions that it's 1789 and Jane Austen turns detective when mysterious happenings occur at Southmoor Abbey where she is visiting.

I found this book a very pleasant read with a spot of mayhem and intrigue. The musings of Jane really felt like I was stepping back in time but with a touch of mischievousness thrown in. Do not expect a submissive docile creature, the Austen's are an adventurous bunch. The mystery in question is forewarned and I was not sure exactly what might happen. Watch out for clues of the dastardly perpetrator.

If you are a fan of the classics, Jane Austen and of an intriguing mystery this would be a good book.

If you would like to get a copy there is a fab little extra included with the book - a tote bag. Click the link to order - Jane Austen Investigates
