Big Book Giveaway week 2 - Picture Books

Welcome to week two of our birthday giveaway and this week we have an incredible bundle of picture books suitable for children aged 3+.

I am not a fan of putting an upper age limit on any book, who hasn't enjoyed reading picture books to children? I certainly have and have many favourites from my children's childhoods, Dogs Don't Wear Glasses, Rover, Foxy Goes To Bed and of course Going on a Bear Hunt.

The pictured books are included in the giveaway, they are as follows:

Wee? It Wasn't Me by Clare Helen Welsh

The Case of the Missing Cake by Eoin McLaughlin

The Boys by Lauren Ace

The Best Place in The World by Petr Horacek

The Hike by Peter Oswald

Today I'm Strong by Nadiya Hussain

All you have to do for a chance to win is comment with a picture book you have read most recently and enjoyed.

I have really enjoyed reading Look Up! with my daughter, she loves it and always jumps up to join in when the main character does her victory dance. It’s a great story, beautifully illustrated, with a real sense of the main character’s voice which is a particular achievement in a picture book where there is always minimal use of words.

The Diddle that Dummed by Fred Blunt and Kes Gray. A crazy musical ride with fiery Flinty and a diddle that just won’t play on the fiddle! The characters are so funny and quirky it’s really easy to create to entertain myself and my kids!

Recently, we’ve been enjoying One Fox by Kate Read which is described as a ‘counting book thriller’. Gripping and gorgeously illustrated

Emily Kenny

Ruby’s Worry by Tom Percival. It’s a wonderful book and I read it my daughter to encourage her to start talking more about things that are bothering her.
