It is that time of year when our customers pop in and look online for gift ideas for Christmas. With this in mind here is a handy list of books we recommend for Christmas.

Our favourite this year is by Vashti Hardy who has a brand new picture book out this year called Santa's Marvellous Mechanical Workshop, we are big fans of Vashti's work, from the inventive and brave Harley Hitch to the intrepid explorers the Brightstorm twins. Santa's Marvellous Mechanical Workshop is about a very clever little inventor who needs to help Santa in his hour of need.

There are many more books to choose from in the shop, not all are Christmas books, we also have some lovely gift editions in hardback of books like The Girl of Ink and Stars by Kiran Millwood Hargrave and Saving Neverland by Abi Elphinstone.

We also have some great Christmas books for toddlers, Jane Foster's Christmas board books and Santa's Christmas Countdown (listed below) are great options worth considering.
